I am a newb to the lawn forum. My lawn looked good in early spring, but then some weeds and clover have started to creep into my lawn. I sprayed the weeds with WBG with crabgrass control a few days ago. There is also some brown in the grass. I don't know if this is from heat stressor something else. I put down a pre emergent in early spring and milorganite around Memorial Day. Could my lawn use another round of milorganite? Should I be doing something else? Looking for advice. Thanks. I plan on Dethatching, aerating and overseeding in the fall.

The second picture shows the grass in early spring. All of the other pictures are present day. Sorry, I hit submit before I could edit my post. I also applied WBG for clover 2 weeks ago to the clover spots.

Welcome to TLF! I see some clover in there as well. The stuff the WBG crabgrass control doesn't get you'll want to hit with WBG CCO (chickweed, clover, oxalis). It has triclopyr as the AI and will be more effective in eliminating clover, creeping Charlie, and the like.

I wouldn't fertilize now in this heat coming up and watch temps when applying herbicides. In this heat over the next week I would apply when the temps are below 90°. Read the label would be the best advice.

Yard looks good!

Early morning or later evening when the temps are cooler. If you want to keep track of your progress you can always keep a lawn journal as some of us here do.
