This last month I have pulled a bunch of roots from 20yr old burfurd hollies and boxwood to get some smaller varieties established.
New shrubs:
4ea Bordeux yaupon holly
2ea kaleidoscope abelia
I am looking for recommendations for between windows, near fence, and in front of shrubs. Prefer perennials or evergreen that are drought tolerant and rarely need pruning.
The bed is 4-5 ft deep depending on location and the new shrubs are 2ft from house.
