So this is my first year trying to take care of my lawn. It was decent when I moved in but once the winter was over and grass started growing it was a huge bare spot. I went through and raked, aeration fertilizer, and laid new seed down and it finally came in, but now there so much different crap growing. I don't no if I should kill my lawn and start from scratch. Here's some pictures not the greatest but I guess Its view of what I have growing in my yard.

Welcome to TLF! Glad to have you here.

Not sure what you have there, but I get that in the drier parts of my lawn too. Regular broadleaf weed control should knock that right out, but be careful with the high temperatures. Only spray weeds when the daytime highs are below 85-90 F. anything above and you can burn your good grass too.

For 750sqft, I would just hand pull it than dealing with herbicides.
Agreed. I would hand pull as long it comes out easily with the root attached. Otherwise, as noted above you can use Weed B Gon per the label. With a smaller lawn I might be inclined to buy the premixed vs concentrate.

Thanks guys I'll try the weed b gone. The funny part is the grass is nice thick and green in that shaded area in the back towards the house. I wanted to take the tree down when I first moved here but the mrs said no.
