I laid 3,600 sq ft on Wednesday. I've kept up with watering (I dont have irrigation so it's been with hose and sprinkler.)

I had spread Humichar before laying sod (I have heavy clay soil), and after I spread eagle 20ew, RGS and Bifen I/T.

The only day I didn't water it was pouring rain, and the yard was very wet. Lots of it looks great, and the pieces have roots going down into the ground when I peeled up a corner. Not many roots and they were probably only a half inch into the dirt.

Here's the pieces of concern. Lots of the yard still looks great though. Are some of these pieces dead?

Heavy?

'As far as water goes, let the soil tell you what it needs to stay moist. Our temps are about to reach the 80's just about every day, and the 90's likely won't be far behind. Putting down 1/2" at a time is wasteful as you are only wanting to keep the sod and surface underneath moist - not saturated. This could be once per day at .1" on cloudy, cool days, or it could be .15" three times per day on sunny, dry days. You can't just put this on a one-size-fits-all type of schedule.'
