I have 2 small (maybe 3") patches of what looks like brown patch in my new Tall fescue,
seeded 4/22. I have recently switched to a more deep and frequent watering.

I am new, and assuming that brown patch, being a fungus, does not just go away?
Can anyone recommend a product I could use? Do I treat only the 2 small areas I have?

I applied Quinclorac on 5/09, however I applied only 1 day after mowing and also the grass may have been slightly damp, I just noticed today some of the crabgrass roots are white when pulling them out, and a few small solid white pieces.
Has anyone re-applied quinclorac with only 1 week between treatments? I only ask because the weather is still cool enough to apply and I am not sure what the following week will bring.

As always, thanks for all the help.

Maybe someone else will chime in. This spot does not look like brown patch to me. The surrounding blades look healthy. Could it be pee from a dog? or too much fertilizer or too much quinclorac?

The spots were there before the quinclorac...the spot that they are in are in the middle of the lawn, which I had problems with the previous junk grass growing....I suspect the problem is the center of the lawn gets water mostly from an oscillating sprinkler head. I am waiting on a rain gauge in the mail so I can gauge my water output. It just seemed like such a round spot to be a water problem....possibly a neighborhood dog. I need to watch my cameras closer.
I was thinking of watering with a manual sprinkler until I possibly get another sprinkler or 2 ran....we will see what the gauge tells me.

Yeah. Doubt brown patch. Looks like a small dog used the area. I have several spots that look identical to this, from my mother in law's dog...
