Hi all, just joined, hoping I can find some knowledgeable folks to help me with my lawn. I'm in the Seattle WA area and have struggled to keep a nice lawn for as long as I've had my house which is about 15 years.
I've got lots of issues but wanted to ask specifically about thick tufts of grass that is 2-3" of dead stalks then very thick and bushy green crowns the last 1" at the top. I'll attach a picture. I ripped everything out a few years ago and planted decent see that was supposed to be all ryegrass. There are spots in the lawn that grow normally with a nice thick green blade from soil level to top but I have a lot of areas that are just thin brown stalks with a little green blade or tuft on top. Seems very unhealthy.
Anyone knows what's going on here?
Thanks
Dan
