I'm looking for a powerful lawn mower that will work for my sharply sloped and new front lawn. I have Meyer zoysia and it is nearly impossible to mow with my current equipment. I have an old push mower with front-wheel drive that greatly struggled when mowing for the first time. The front-wheel drive just spins the wheels and doesn't drive the mower properly on this slope. It also wants to slide sometimes, but I can control it to an extent.
I also have a McLane 10-blade reel mower that I haven't tested on the slope yet, but would like to explore the possibility of reel mowing it. However, at this time, I don't think using a reel mower is practical.
With this being Meyer zoysia, it is also incredibly thick, so I need all the power I can get. What would you all think would be the best rotary mower for this lawn? Also, if you have any ideas for reel mowers, those would also be much appreciated. Below are some of the mowers I am considering along with some photos of the lawn. I am aware that Honda makes a 200cc push mower, but I don't like that the deck shell isn't metal.
