Looking good neighbor! Did you use tenacity at seed down? I did a spring seed with Tenacity and if I could go back in time, I would have done a second follow up app at one month. (I have some crabgrass starting to sneak in now.. )

What kind of seed did you use?

Finally, whereabouts in CT are you? I live in Plymouth.

I live in North Haven...I did not use Tenacity I should have tho but I ran out of the Scotts starter with weed preventer so I used what I had. I did use it on a previous area I did earlier in the spring and it worked out good. I'm just practicing up for my big kbg reno this fall lol

You seriously seeded that 3 weeks ago?!? If so, I'm going to sulk in the corner now.

Looks amazing! What type of seed did you use?

When I seeded last fall, I had some areas that did not get Tenacity at seed down. The difference between areas that were treated with Tenacity and those that were not treated was night and day when it came to weed pressure.

I used Scotts turf builder in the blue bag and Pennington smart seed. I get a lot of shade here so I just got a seed for sun and shade. To be honest I didnt know about seed quality until recently. It is a mix of KBG different Fecues and prg. Since I already started with this seed combo across the driveway ealier this spring I figure I'll just make this my front mix. My back will be kbg

Don't forget kbg takes a long time to get going something I'll be dealing with soon lol.
