Welcome to the forum

If this is your first time, i will suggest a good reading of the product label. The label has a recommendation of how much water to use in page 8 (min 0.5gal/1000 SQ ft). Most folks use a 1 gal/1000sqft rate since that's how they calibrate their sprayer.

Page 17 has a conversion to teaspoons, but I don't recommend using it. The best way is with a kitchen scale in grams. The qty is very small. In the cool season first post there is a link to @GrassDaddy YouTube video of how to measure and apply it.

Yes, this is my first time using it. I was very confused with the application instructions. I do follow grass daddy and will watch his video. Thanks alot for the response. I have always used a broadcast spreader in the past.

So the way I do it, I spray my whole lawn with water like I'm applying product. And that's how much water I need for a full blanket application. Then I measure how much product I need for my size lawn and dump it in.

It ended up being close to 1 gallon per k of water anyways, but I feel this is less difficult to understand and it allows for slight changes in walking pace. If you want to walk slower, you'll end up using more water but the amount of product doesn't change.
