I've just purchase a McLane reel mower and I'm having trouble with the manual drive lever staying engaged. It wants to barely stay and the pop back down or I can completely push the shaft past 180 degrees and rest it against the gas tank and it stays. Not sure but maybe the spring in the assembly is work out?

I took a look at mine tonight and tried to duplicate the issue but couldn't. The only thing I can think of is maybe the lever near the spring is not in the correct spot and the set screw for it is loose?
