We're having a very unusual dry (and for here hot) period right now here in the Pacific Northwest.
A lot of lawns have gone dormant, and there's brown dry grass now everywhere, where everything normally would be green. At this rate we could be heading for a few records for heat & dry spells with the weatherman here.
But some day we're going to be getting rain again, and before that day comes does anyone have good advice in recovering our lawns. e.g. should we be ready to lay down some Milorganite or seed just before the rain returns, or don't cut the lawn for a few days after the moisture returns, ...
Nature is pretty resilient when we don't change the balances, but sometimes it doesn't hurt to do something to help - or ..?
Many thanks ...
