Excited for this season! I have a lot going on again this year.

1. Improve slopes on the green with sand topdressing
2. Make sure bentgrass is removed in KBG
3. Reno the front yard due to water line fix

I got in a second snow mold app on the green due to warm weather and no snow cover. Expecting more snow next week.

Did my first fungicide app of the season. Did spring disease cleanup with Instrata (Daconil/Propi/Medallion)

Thought I would post a cool sunset pic since you guys like the view so much. I need to figure something out for a boarder under the fence to have a clean line and keep out unwanted grass types.

We are finally warming up. Utah seems to like to go from 40s to 90s. We hit 85 yesterday. I see a cooling trend for the next few weeks so some decent spring weather in the high 60s and low 70s for the next few weeks.

Green is finally kicking into gear with the warmer weather and feedings I've given. Gonna have some ppl over for a BBQ in a few weeks for its reveal.

I am having issues with the green. I was seeing that the greenup was slow and then not seeing full coverage in areas. I notices black dots all over the green a few days ago. I got a close look. I still haven't identified what it is. Went with full rates of 3336/Eagle/HeritageSC(Azoxy) Groups 1,3,11.

No. I still have bent in the yard. Didn't start applications early enough before winter. Recommended timing is fall so I am going to wait and have nice color this season till fall and go after it again.

I was able to get a liquid iron app out this morning on the KBG and bent to get it looking its best for the party this weekend. Also a special delivery came in the mail this afternoon. I received the custom flag I designed. The green seems to be doing better, but still seeing an issue with color in the high section.

So thankful that my green seems to be on the mend and should be ready for this weekend party. It's looking better every day. It was rolling better after a cut this morning. It's starting to stripe a bit now that it is coming back.

I also received some 5in spikes from R&R. I am going to build a custom punching device to aerate the green.

Well the black cloud came in and rained it out, but it was still fun. I had several comments of "That grass is so nice" and "That's a fake green, right?" We were able to throw the football around with the kids for a few minutes. I have a friend who played college golf and I was keeping this a surprise to see his reaction in person when it was all grown in. We got to roll a few putts before the rain came. The green is in the best shape it's been since I've had it. I rolled a few putts this morning and it's speeding up now that its healthy. I'm still going to do a follow up curative fungicide app tonight since there is still some on the corners.
