How many grams of iron per liter water do you all use? There is no subscription on the packaging and the last time I used it it was definitely to much as some parts of the grass died after the application.
Anyone who has experience with this?Hieronymus said:And would it be possible to mix in a post emergent with the iron?
I haven't tried it. I know you can with some but there is a chance of the iron or some new compound being formed and precipitating out. It would be convenient to combine iron with fungicide, herbicide, humates, pgr, and fert. That would be a one and done mix! You can always mix a small amount in a jar and see what happens after 10 min. If the mix stays in solution, you're good. Problem is, you need to test all your herbicides since they can react differently.Hieronymus said:And would it be possible to mix in a post emergent with the iron?
But you probably use a prem. We don't have that kind of products. So I can only use a post and then do the whole lawn so I hit every little weed. But I guess i should probably just try and find out.....g-man said:I dont have experience doing this. I hardly use any post herbicide and if I do it is spot. I make one gallon tank of triclopyr in the spring and one of wbg in the fall. I dont use the entire gallon either time.
