Leveling the lawn is an item I plan on tackling next spring. There is a lot of great info on here that I have read through. I have tried searching one detail without much success though. What about lowering the soil level in some areas? Do you prefer/is it better to have the soil level with say the sidewalk/driveway areas? I have attached a picture. I am curious if you all would try to lower or just level the rest of the lawn and leave this as is.

Thanks for the feedback.

Hi Joshj233 - welcome to TLF! I think it would be incredibly difficult to lower the soil level without completely destroying the grass. I think you'd be better served bringing the low areas up to achieve a more level surface.

I am in North Texas as well. Here was my leveling project from last summer. Be sure to tackle the project in late June / early July to ensure your Bermuda is growing at max potential. Enjoy!
