I'm a few weeks away from starting my yearly leveling project but I am now mowing three times a week so I want to apply some PGR. How far out from leveling should I stop applying PGR?

3-4 weeks should be sufficient. I plan on applying it for a month, which will allow the plant to store up the scientific name stuff that allows it to grow vertically (I think it's gibberellic acid), and when it's ready to wear off, the plants will have enough of that to allow it to power grow through the sand that I'll be applying on top.

+1 About 3 weeks from your last app and you should be just fine :thumbup:

When you say a "few" weeks is that 2 or 3? If it's 3 you could go ahead and get the first app down and then by the time it wears off you should be ready to level.

@Mightyquinn It's looking more like two. I'll play it safe for now and hold off. I don't mind mowing often since it's still cool.
