I'm working on a ~750/sqft area where I plan to put new sod down and am wondering if i should buy a leveling rake. I currently have a landscape rake but don't know if the leveling rake would be beneficial or not..?

100% YES. I am sub 1K sq feet and the level rake is by far one of the best tools I have bought to date.

What size would you recommend? I have about 5,000 sqft and plan on doing some sand leveling next spring

I think mine is the ~36" if I recall correctly. Much larger and it can get heavy to push around.
