TLF, has any used a lawn sweeper (pull behind lawn tractor) to pick up dormant berumda grass clippings after scalping? Did the lawn sweeper do the job of picking up the clippings?

I was going to buy one, but want to make sure it will do the job.

I don't know of anyone that has actually used one for that purpose but I can't see why it wouldn't work as the clippings are fairly lightweight and those brushes on it should pick it up pretty easily. I used my rotary brush on my Baroness and it did a great job at picking everything up

I have used my 42" Brinly Sweeper for just that, post de-thatching. Worked like a charm.

If I didn't know any better, I have confused this picture with something a farmer would be harvesting.

Yah, I inherited thatch issues!
Inheriting thatch is a better problem than inheriting a thriving field of dallisgrass or something.
