Any thoughts on should I do the same pattern today and again on the 4th to nail down the print or should I do different pattern? I was thinking of doing a "S"wave today and double single checker board on the 4th.

I started a flag pattern last night. I doubt the high temps will allow it to look good by next Wednesday. To me you have to mow the same pattern direction to make it pop. I will post pictures if it turns out ok.

I have really been getting the stripes down permanently by going over the same ones. I only do two directions. Straight and angled. Every other. I was going to cut tonight but with this 106 heat index we are supposed to get in SEMN I am doubting I will want to. And we are leaving in the morning coming back Monday. I was hoping to get down some FAS before the 4th too. I will have to check temps Monday and Tuesday if that's going to happen. The weather this yr has not been in my favor.

curious what other peoples techniques are?

I've only done parallel stripes (doubles and singles) and haven't attempted squares or diamonds yet? Thinking of trying some diamonds this weekend. Is there a specific process or can I just cut one way then go over it the other? Do i need to go over a third time back in the original angle but skipping every other pass?
