Is anyone else's fescue lawn going to seed right now? I've seen the LCN's video about this and it doesn't sound like there is anything I can do, but this is the first time my lawn has done. I'm just trying to mow it often because the seed heads are making the lawn look whitish green :( . Is there anything I can do? Is my lawn telling me something?

It happens every year as the turf transitions from spring to summer. Some years its hardly noticeable. This year is the most intense my lawn has been. We had a late spring freeze. Could have been that. We've had a long stretch of hot and dry weather. Could be that. Who knows?

Thanks for the reassurance guys! I hate to but I'll probably drop the HOC down to 3"-3.25" just until the seed flush passes. I'm just thankful I don't see any POA seed heads

I am at 2" Currently and have kbg seed heads, so i assume it is relative to where you are at when the seed heads start producing. I was nervous when I first saw them, then realized it wasn't POA and was like whatever, seed away
