Working our way through the sprout and pout stage I’m guessing. My other renos had PRG in them so that must have masked this stage with those renovations. I wanted to start spoon feeding today but am holding off until Friday due to the heat wave we’re having this week.

Weather has been pretty rough this week. Mid 90s and humid the past 3 or 4 days. Have some fungus damage happening. So far it’s in a few small areas. I didn’t water today and only did once yesterday. Hopefully I’m getting protection from the fungicide I applied last week. Looks like the worst has passed but still not out of the woods for a few days

Got rocked with a huge storm yesterday afternoon. The worst of the heat should be over now but the humidity and storms are forecasted to stay a few more days. Lawn is holding up well considering the weather. Today I’m going to go over the lawn with my blower to fluff up any matted down grass. Can’t wait for the real fall weather to show up. On the plus side it looks like the hurricane is going to miss us next week

latest pic from this afternoon. Survived a lot of rain and humidity in the last week. Still have rain and humidity in the forecast through Wednesday but luckily cooler temps. Will try and start the N tomorrow if weather cooperates. Definitely have some broadleaf weeds sprouting but I can handle them in due time

Looking good man! What rate did you seed at? I'm only a few days behind you but mine looks a little more thin than yours. Are you starting to notice areas come out of the pout stage?
thanks! I seeded at 2.5# / K. I definitely have some areas that seem to be coming out of the pout stage and growing. We haven’t had much sun the past few days so I’m hoping once it comes out things will take off

This morning I blew off the leaves and gave the front lawn a mow with my manual reel mower. Not a ton was cut off but a decent amount. I also reseeded some areas that didn’t come in due to irrigation issues/ washout. I should be able to hand water these spots now that the majority of the lawn is in good shape. Tomorrow I will spoon feed again with .25#N and some RGS. The best thing is the weather finally turned yesterday and now we have mid to high 70s and sun for the next week or so.

Looking great man. Can't believe the density you have already. What was your seeding rate?
2.5# /k rate. I think the 30% after midnight is helping everything look dense coverage wise. It seems like it is quicker to establish then the other KBG varieties I tested

I thought about going After Midnight but the local testing showed Midnight doing much better in trials. And it wasn’t close. So went with Mid. Looking good though for just 2.5#!
