I don't have a good answer for you, but I wanted to let you know that I'm doing the exact same thing. KBG, PRG, and TTTF in my yards and overseeding tomorrow heavily with a custom TTTF blend. I'm hoping the same - that a few years of TTTF overseeding should make it more uniform and consistent, though it will never be 100% of course.
Keeping a mutt lawn?
I have several types of grasses in my front and back yards. The front yard, which is now my primary focus, has patches of KBG, ryegrass, and turf-type tall fescue.
Since I am seeding with TTTF, I want to know if the TTTF will have a decent chance of taking over the lawn without me having to kill it all with glyphosate. I am hoping for a more uniform look, in texture and in color.
