Hi folks,
First post on the forum. Happy to be an official member now.
I'm planning my fall overseed project for my southern CT lawn which receives plenty of sun. The turf, though not as thick as I want, is pretty decent. But I'm hoping to get it thicker with the help of KBG and PRG. I'm really starting to spin in circles over which ratio of the two to throw down. I'd love to have more bluegrass but the consensus seems to be that KBG is easier to plant with a fresh start. Lesco's got a 50/50 mix which I'm thinking might be a decent option? I know the KBG overseeding is a tough game to play so I'm thinking that if I don't get as much KBG at least I'll get some good PRG down? Would a different ratio be more helpful?
I'm certainly not going for a world class lawn here. Just want something pretty awesome.
Thanks for your time,
Joe
