Maybe I'm crazy but a piece of me died today when a buddy sent me a picture.

He has an all *** lawn and the entire thing was brown/dormant. When I asked if he forgot the winterizer, he responded saying it is kbg so the Browning was normal and nothing to worry about.

What gives, is kbg in Colorado different than kbg in Ohio?

He is right. Kbg will go brown when dormant. I think the higher elevation, winds and low rain make it worst for him. I was in Denver mid November and everything was brown (lawns, weeds and pastures by the highway).
