Starting journal for 2023, incorporating the rear and north/south lawns. This will be the 2nd full season for the new front lawn.

Final mow of 2022

Getting soil test done by the end of the month once the soil softens.
Starting a PGR program this year and hoping to keep HOC at 2" - Seed stalks were bad last year, hoping to mitigate some.

Probably not getting a reel this year Lots of work to do on the side/rear after patio installation did a number. Also have to add a planting bed around the patio.
Installed a 500sq ft granite patio in sept/oct. Was late into the year, we didn't get to fully enjoy it but we did get a real tree for the holidays and decorated it.

3/4 - Got about 8 inches of snow on 2/28 which quickly melted. The biggest PIA is shoveling a stone driveway. I have to be very careful not to throw stones into the yard. The first mow will definitely be preceded by a light raking along the edge.

3/18 Nice day out. Enjoyed a Guinness and cleaned the mower deck with a drill brush and putty knife. Didn't spend a ton of time. Wanted to start getting things ready for the season. Next week I'll clean up the manual reel.
