Wow.... yeah, they were at least 20k new. Prob more than 30k for the hybrid. They were avail as a battery electric too.

I have to believe this is a typo. Triplex ones in used condition are going for $23K. Even being a double $11,000 sounds more reasonable than $1100. Although, crazy stuff happens every day. This might just be crazy stuff.

I don't think it was a scam because the area looks familiar (driveway etc.) I might try to go look this weekend.

Show up with cash and a -big- trailer. If he's for real, I'd be buying one, plus a backup, a backup for my backup, a safety backup just in case, and one more just so it didn't feel left out.
