Soni spread a bunch of emerald zoysia seed in a shaded area in the corner of my lawn to try it out. I hat a tiny bit of growth but nothing longer than 1/4" then it seemed to have went away... When I mowed yesterday I saw this and have to seen it before... There is a bunch growing do I was wondering if it's the zoysia? It's def thicker bladed than the Bermuda I have everywhere..

Yes it is zoysia, but most likely isn't Emerald. There are a few seeded varieties, but Emerald is a hybrid of two different zoysias ( a cross between a zoysia japonica and a zoysia tenuifolia), and I don't think it produces viable seed. (Yes, I know you can buy "Emerald seed" off eBay, but I wouldn't put any faith in that) Emerald is also much finer bladed than those pics.
