So we have had a very slow and cold spring. This is the first real week of warm weather. Usually most of April is warm and hits the 80's often but not this year. Where it's green it is good. My front faces North so the house give a decent amount of shade. It didn't affect anything last year during the summer. I do see new growth popping up every couple days and slowly filling in the brown areas. It's probably a patience problem but should I consider re seeding?

Just wait it out...Memphis had a cold cold April too and I've been generally freaking out but this week offered some encouraging growth. Be strong. I know it sucks to have worked so hard all last season only to look like you are headed in the wrong direction.

Also have same issues in some front yard. North facing. House shade, and I also had a goosegrass infestation in the area and used Celsius and dismiss together in the late summer early fall. Killed the weeds, didn't have much grass left so the competition.

I'd wait it out, not much choice. I've seen some spotty growth coming in so there's always hope and time!!
