Zoysia is unforgiving. If you dent it with herbicides it won't grow back as quickly as Bermuda will. Hand pull what you can then wait until Zoysia goes dormant in the fall before beginning a pre-emergent program.

 

It may be sensitive, but not THAT scary! Definitely no worse than TTTF or PRG which can be completely killed and will need reseeding to repair. If you have a calibrated sprayer, have read the label and are following the instructions, there's no reason to be afraid.

 

I spray on my zoysia all season, especially when it’s warmer. Label rates of Celsius and Certainty are life savers. There’s also some scarier ones that I have been known to spray in a pinch during summer for more difficult weeds but I won’t recommend those to anyone I haven’t had a beer with.

No issues applying Celsius on Zoysia. May be paired with Certainty, Quicksilver, SpeedZone. Be cautious of applying Sulfentrazone on Emerald Zoysia. Otherwise I have never had a problem broadcasting Celsius on Emerald paired with indicated companion herbicides.
