Honda push mower

I went with the HRX217HYA because I wanted the blade stop feature:

Is this model comparable minus the blade stop feature?

I have the cheaper HRR216K9VKAA and love it, so I imagine the higher end models are even better.

That new variable speed control system beats the heck out of my first generation little thumb pads.

I have one and love it. The paddles work fine for me. The cut quality is great!

i have that mower and really like it so far. I haven't had it a real long time as I got it toward the end of last year. I have about 8 mows with it. Plenty of power and seems built very well. I do like this speed lever compared to the paddle drive versions. My FIL has the paddle version and it's fine but I do prefer this newer version. It's about as high quality as it gets without going complete commercial mower. I'm happy with the purchase so far.

I have a model that looks just like it but instead has a paddle drive system. Have had it now for about 6 years or so. Been a great mower but now that I have a Bermuda lawn and purchased a greens mower I'll be using it less.
