I checked with Home Depot (HD) online to make sure they could price match an $89 DeWalt LED light that's on Amazon for $49. Their online chat representative told me they could. I told the online representative that I would just stop by HD to pick one up instead of having it shipped to me.
A clerk at the HD store told me they do not price match Amazon. Then another clerk called a manager who told her the exact same thing, "We don't price match Amazon." I exited the store, pulled out my phone, and messaged the HD online chat representative. She price matched Amazon for me, took my payment information via link, and sent me a confirmation email. The process took 2-4 minutes. I walked back into HD to show them the confirmation email and chat log from the representative. You should have seen their faces: 😳
