I found this article this am. I think it is interesting for us cool season folks.

tl;dr
They noticed no effect in control as a function of when the lawn was mowed (3 day prior, 1hr prior, 1hr after or 3 days after). Therefore, just apply it.

Great info! I have on multiple occasions put off herbicide applications because I read not to do it a day before or a day after mowing. That left me with like one day a week where I could apply herbicide.
