I decided to try doing the preemergent myself last fall and bought some Specticle G . I applied about 3-4 ounces per 1000 ft . I also did around 2 ounces of Specticle Flo in February. I’m worried I did something wrong because my Bermuda is not really greening up much . I cut it to 3 inches today to see if that would help . I applied Scott’s green Max also . Y’all I am scared I did something wrong . It looks brown with some green showing through . I wonder if it’s just still not warm enough

Take a few pictures and post them. No one can confidently diagnose a yard without seeing it. Also why is your Bermuda taller than 2"? If you had to cut it down to 3", it's way too high. Bermuda likes to be short, not tall. If you have a rotary try to keep it around 2" and cut it weekly.

It's unclear what you applied. Did you apply Specticle Flo (liquid) or Specticle G (granular) or both?
Specticle G, the granular product, should be applied at ~3-4.5 lbs per 1,000 sq ft so the first application of a few ounces per K, if granular, did absolutely nothing to your yard or for your yard.
If you instead meant Specticle Flo applied at 3-4 oz per 1,000 sq feet you definitely killed your grass in the first application and probably won't be able to grow grass well there for another year or two. It's annual max is 18 oz per acre which is less than half an ounce/ per K. So that would mean you applied at least 6-8 times the annual max in the first application. The same information applies to the second application. Hopefully you applied specticle G for both apps...

Of course some parts of the country are still coming out of dormancy. If your neighbor's yards are all somewhat brown maybe your area just hasn't received enough hot weather or good sunlight to green it up yet. But if you meant specticle Flo, I'd wait at least a year if not two before resodding or just transition to a rock garden.
