Anyone have any experience with Headway G? I am going to be applying it as a "preventative" measure for my newly laid zoysia (was told it wont hurt it). This was recommended by the SiteOne guys and it's not cheap!! At about $4/lb, I am not sure it makes sense to use as part of my yearly application plan. However, one of the big reasons I did go with Headway over the cheaper option of Scott's DiseasesEX which would have been just under $2/lb, was it has Propiconazole 0.75% added.

Is having that added propicoonazole worth the extra money? Or is a product like Exteris Stressgard a better overall option?

Thanks in advance.. Fungicide is foreign to me and just want to make sure Im on the right track before I go out applying things.

For the most common zoysia diseases, large patch and dollar spot, you are going to be much better off spraying liquid fungicides. Liquids are cheaper (per app) and more effective. If you are going to use a granular fungicide, Headway G is a good one.

Makes sense. Thank you....

I was already at SiteOne and given the price of Exteris at $281 (2.5gl), I wasn't quick enough with my public school math to crunch that many #s to get a per app/cost  but I imagine it will be substantially less than Headway G.
