I have another thread on this lawn, but not being related to any issues that I'm having.

Located in Northern Va, I tilled the lawn and planted Winning Colors last fall, came in beautifully.

Just 2 weeks ago I noticed my hostas were beginning to be eaten and that day I added two motion sprinklers. I did catch one deer on the security camera that night and the sprinkler scared it off.

Then just a few days ago I noticed some matted areas and a few hoof prints, this was one small area outside the sprinklers.....so I added third sprinkler.

I dont know what this is, but it's in a dozen or more spots in my yard...could this be from deer urine?

There's a chance they sprayed the grass before reaching the hostas.

We also had torrential rain the last 2 weeks and the lawn has been getting at least 2 Inches per week.

I would hate for the lawn to be ruined as it was looking very good last month. This is a nearby healthy area.

Any input appreciated.

I was cutting at 3" initially, then moved to 3 1/2" the last cut.

Nearest the pic is where the hosta bed is, theres some spots there. The bare area on the left is where I had a washout during germination and will remedy this fall.

This pic was about 2 weeks ago.

I did have some weed early this year and treated with dimension, targeted the weed quite well and did leave some bare areas where the weeds were.

Looks to be confirmed that it is indeed a fungus. My local landscape supplier said this is widespread in my area with the past weather we've had over the last 3-4 weeks.

So he recommended Eagle 20EV and I applied at 1.2oz/gal per 1000 sq.ft.

I sprayed it at roughly 10AM but we had a quick rain about 11-12 hours later. The grass was in the sun for a good amount of the day so the Eagle did in fact dry, but my question is even though it dries, would the evening rain have adverse effects on the potency of the product?

Hi neighbor.... where are you in NOVA? I'm in Annandale. That dead yellow grass looks like urine to me. See that in my yard where my dog pee's a lot.

Lot of folks apply fungicide using the preventative schedule. So the Eagle should help. Keep in mind you'll need to rotate in another fungicide to complement the Eagle.

Not too far, Manassas area. I was thinking urine also, but it's fairly widespread...haven't seen enough movement in the yard to make that amount of stains but never know.

What can I rotate in with the Eagle? I started the Eagle this past Saturday, and the lawn seems to have settled down for now.
