This grass is in the parking lot of my work here in North Texas, they have Bermuda everywhere except in the parking lot under these trees.. not sure what it is by my guess is fescue or maybe zoysia... Anyway it looks good (tall for my taste) but seems very well shade tolerant since it's in full shade mainly..

Txmx583, like trc said, there isn't a lot of visual difference in most "overgrown" matrella cultivars. I'm guessing Cavalier because it is grown by Trinity Turf in Pilot Point and Zorro, Zeon, etc aren't grown around here (likely due to lack of cold hardiness).

Cool thanks spammage! Maybe I'll get some for the shaded areas of my back yard to mix in with the extremely think Bermuda in the corners. I'm sure the color wound be as dark as the Bermuda but it's better than mud haha
