Hello. Thank you for having me. This is my first post. I have a foreign grass/weed in my Tall Fescue. Can anyone help identify it and advise how to get rid of it. Here are some pics of what I'm referring to. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to TLF!

That last picture looks an awful lot like bermuda. I really can't make a determination based on the pictures of the lawn. They are too blurry.
Find some pictures of bermuda to see what you think--but that is what it most looks like to me.

It is very difficult to do. Many people opt for accepting bermuda as a kind of supplement to their cool season grass. That is a very reasonable thing to do.
If you are absolutely committed to killing it off, you can
1. use round up (without getting it on your fescue). It will probably take 3 apps and may come back next spring/summer
2. use ornamec (relatively safe for fescue when used according to label). It could take 2-3 years to eliminate it.
3. use pylex (probably even safer for fescue when used according to label). It could take 2-3 years to eliminate it.

Some recommend turflon ester. As far as I know, turflon ester controls bermuda but does not actually eliminate it.

Have a peek at some of the bermuda lawns in the warm season section. They can look amazing.

As was said above, Pylex is supposed to kill it, but its a long process. And expensive.

You can also try Turflon Ester and Acclaim Extra. They do a decent job of suppressing it, but may take a couple of years of applications to kill it, *if* it actually can kill it.

Bermuda is tough. That stuff grows on concrete!

I'm having a big problem with it too. See my thread:

Welcome to the forum

It is hard to tell from your images. The first images looks like crabgrass. The last one is interesting. It could be nibblewill or bermuda. Please use this tool to down select.
