If you had Bermuda and were going to maintain at ~.75" with a reel, what height would you make your original cut to allow for the green tips to grow and maintain at .75"??

Maybe 1/2"? I would just go as low as you can without getting the reel into the dirt. I'm a very methodical person, but I try my best not to put myself in a box when it comes to choosing a scalp or maintenance HOC. I tend to get better results when I just take what the yard gives me, if that makes any sense.

Makes sense. Thats kinda what I do with my rotary. Was not sure if the reel would be different since people tend cut lower and there's less room between cut height and maintenance height.

Not sure how it's going to work out, but I scalped at 5/8" and am trying to maintain at 11/16".
