Fertilizer w Heavy Rain

Need to fertilize over seed project that is about 5 weeks old. Getting later in the season and the young grass looks like it definitely needs some fert before growth stops here in the Mid-Atlantic. Question is, the forecast has around an inch to an inch and a half of rain moving in overnight through the day tomorrow. Should I fertilize the afternoon before the rain or wait a few days till things
dry out and I'm back in town and fertilize this weekend?

If you could put it down after the rain but while the ground is still wet, that would be ideal. That's what I'd do anyway, but 1-1.5" over 18-36 hours isn't a monsoon, so you're probably fine dropping the fertilizer today though.
