What are your thoughts on striping in the late fall? Grass has pretty much stopped growing, and is at 2.5 inches. My thought is it's OK because the eventual snow fall is going to flatten the grass anyways.

Have family and friends coming over for thanksgiving and want it to look it's best.

No problems with it. Just don't do it when the grass has frost or is frozen.

I find the stripes are staying much longer. Also you can stripe with a broom if you don't want to use gas or have already winterized.

I have thick stripes that rotate 3 ways, after winter there very hard to see.
