Hello,
Can anyone tell me if too much phosphate has an negative, of any effect on Tall Fescue? Got my soil test results back from NCAG, and my Phosphorus Index was through the roof. In some ares of the yard the PI was 397. If I read the test results correctly, it should be between 50-70.

High phos can lead to iron deficiency chlorosis. If you haven't noticed an issue in the past, I wouldn't worry about it.

Obviously, keep away from fertilizer with any phos.

Keith & g-man, thank you for your responses. My yard seems to be doing fine, but after I received the soil test results, I became worried when I read that the PI was so high. After reading the viewtopic 2351, it sound like I need to back off any apps of Milo for a while, and learn more how to apply the macros more efficiently.
