Is it normal for the split drums to turn at different speeds? I was running the eclipse on the kickstand and observed the drive rollers turning at different speeds so I sharpied a line across and sure enough one is going faster.

My Jake (although not an Eclipse) works the same way. Up in the air like that, one side will turn faster or possibly in the opposite direction of the other. It's just the nature of the differential gearing. Once it's on the ground, with equal traction, it both halves will rotate at equal speeds unless you are turning the mower. If it isn't pulling left or right when you use it, you have nothing to worry about.
