I did some spot spraying last week for clover and a little bit of creeping charlie. I did a heavy handed blanket spray in May that killed huge patches of both weeds and left the lawn looking miserable, but I knew I'd have bare spots and weak grass.

I repaired the lawn from that, but starting a couple days ago I started to see new bits of clover, creeping charlie, etc start to pop up. Not a lot at all, so I thought I'd spot spray with weed-b-gone red mix and knock it out while it was still manageable.

A week after spot spraying I areas of yellowing grass in small patches. At first I thought it was another fungus issue starting to spread, but now I wonder if it's just me being too aggressive with spot spraying.

I have to admit that I was pretty heavy-handed with the spot spray. I did several squirts before moving to the next spot. I don't remember the _exact_ spots I sprayed. I just wandered around and tried to get each little bit of clover or other weed that was starting to show up in recent weeks.

Here are a few pics are below. I have many more that three spots, but hopefully this is enough - do you think this new issue I'm seeing is from too much herbicide?

I definitely had this issue after I applied a combo spray of MCPA, Mecoprop-p, Dicamba and Carfentrazone back in June. I had used the same spray successfully all through the Spring without issue. I think its definitely temp related. Won't make that mistake again!

Yep. I mowed today and as I was scanning the yard I saw some more spots in the backyard that I knew I shot with dicamba and 2, 4-D for clover and a few other things, and sure enough, the turf was damaged as well. Temps may have been a part of that, but I'm convinced I sprayed way too much.
