Does Fas need watered in.

Does a Fas app need watered in? I see some say they leave it overnight and water the next morning. Others don’t mention watering it in at all.
Also how long to wait to mow after an app?

MQ's Liquid Lawn Fertilizing Plan | Lawn Care Forum (thelawnforum.com)

After 4 hours you can water it in to avoid any potential risk of burn (using the word potential because it all depends on you applying it correctly. So if you want to hedge your bets, just water it after 4-6 hours just to be sure.)

You can also water the lawn the day of the spray to ensure the grass is not pre-disposed to burning.

Or, as another commenter on that thread shared, they just double the carrier volume (water) and that worked for them to avoid burn risk.

(Personally, I water it after 4-ish hours because it's not going to do much more past that and then the soil can use it as well, as MQ shared in that thread.)

I don't think I've ever watered it in, at least not at the recommended rates. But then again I don't spray when my turf is dry, I don't spray in direct sunlight or ahead of a scorching hot day, etc etc etc.

If you're not sure if your turf will handle it, water it in. Once you recognize the factors that can induce leaf burn you can adjust your apps as needed

I was going to try to get a Fas app in before this weekend but didn’t have my irrigate set up yet. Good to know about upping the carrier volume has worked.
Thanks for the replies.
