Recommended rate was 0.18-0.275 Oz l/gal. I spot treated with it at about 0.2Oz/Gal.

Did I make a huge mistake? I know it can discolor grass, but I want to make sure that I didn't just kill my grass to the roots. It's labeled as safe for it, and it's only been mid to upper 80s so it shouldn't be an issue I wouldn't think.

You are ok. The damage should mow off. I expect a certain degree of scorching when temperatures are over 80. That is why I switch to Quicksilver+Certainty or Quicksilver+Monument for treating sedges in Zoysia when it is over 80.

I'll have to look those up. My gut was correct - I took out the mower and cut it, and now I'm watering.

The good news is it's killing the sedges minus the one cluster I missed lol. Might have to give it the sponge brush treatment.

What's good for goose grass in this weather? Everything seems to roll off it.
Dismiss. Paint it on if you only have a couple plants.

edit - the good news is that you can add MSO or a surfactant if you are only painting it on. That will help it stick to and penetrate the shoots better anyway.

I have a nice stand of it on the side of the house. Honestly its just sand underneath so MSO wouldn't hurt anything since its not in grass. Usually even with surfactant though, it just rolls right off that stuff.
