Looks drought stressed. That's usually the first sign, it gets kind of a weird greyish color to it. Also if you step on it, it won't immediately stand back up.

 

I appreciate the input! I thought that maybe it had rained enough in the area over the past week so I didn’t water. I must have been mistaken!

 

I agree with the above. Make sure the grass is getting 1-1.5" of water each week. Not sure where in Canada you are, but in SW Ontario it's been in the upper 80's consistently with zero rain - except for last night.

I’m near Edmonton Alberta we have had a decent amount of rain lately which was why I was a little concerned. I have been playing with 23-9-5 liquid fertilizer and humic acid applications and it seems to be working really well. The only other thing I can think of that I have done different is the cut before this one I did cut while the lawn was pretty wet. Possibly a little stress from that as well?

 

Another possibility is too much iron. If you applied iron recently that could be it.

 

I actually did a little bit of iron to the sprayer last time but nothing crazy. It poured all day yesterday so I should be able to see some changes soon

 

Additionally if you've been spraying, always possible you hit one area a little harder than the others. Overall, doesn't look like anything I'd be really worried about.
