Back from being away for 9 days. I had someone lined up to mow but it rained for a week.

@chrismar I was I. Virginia getting married and then a few nights in WV at The Greenbrier for a little honeymoon of sorts. We only had rain for a day and half so the weather was pretty much perfect.

@ericgautier I still haven't really graduated to PGR yet i haven't researched it enough.

Lawn looks pretty stressed after the cut. I side discharged on first cut, then bagged 2nd, and then went over again with tractor and mulched what remained. Turf looks pretty stressed in some areas, way too wet and some fungus. The bare areas that I seeded look great though!

^ next time. Mow at the highest setting, then wait 2-3 days and mow one notch down. Repeat until you get it back at your desired hoc.

@probasestealer haha I honestly thought about ways I could cut higher... maybe renting a combine?? Luckily it's rained all day today, so non of it has been blasted with sun today after cutting probably 2/3 to 80% of blade length.

@chrismar thank you! I must say, I feel more mature walking around with a wedding band on. Just feels like maybe people take you a little more seriously when they realize there is a wife involved lol

@Sbcgenii haha each time I cut a new pass he would lay back down inthe tall stuff. He was born wild in the woods so he's all about being able to hide in foliage.

Thinking about turning the nomix into a tall alfalfa or timothy field.
