I wanted to get corn gluten meal a shot. Dandelion seeds began appearing about five days ago here. I managed to get most of the seeds until today. It seems in lawns all over my neighbourhood there is been a sudden seed explosion.
is it too late to apply? I'm asking because as a pre-emergent, doesn't need to be down before the seeds fall or other words is a barrier created? Or is a barrier created for other types of pre-emergence only. I'm actually not even sure what characteristics of the corn gluten meal works.
please keep in mind, I live in Ontario and our options here are limited.
