I would try some atrazine or isoxaben. I would just spot spray though. Your going to get a bit of yellowing in your lawn. Also, don't apply immediately after a fresh mow.

Surge is not labeled for it, but it is the best thing I have used for it. Isoxaben/Gallery is great for it as a preemergent, but once it has begun to grow, Surge will kill it.

 

Yep, that's what I use "Surge". I also tend to have a problem is "doveweed" mostly on my north-side too much to hand-pull works on it as well.

Chamerbitter usually doesn't survive mowing. Especially reel low mowing. However it is a problematic flower bed weed. Gallery can't be beat for flower bed broadleaf control
