With summer coming I did not do a good job of getting weeds under control and now I have a severe case of virginia buttonweed, american burnweed, sow thistle, dogfennel, and cudweed. The temperatures are above 90 degrees every day for the extended forecast with very little rain in sight. With these temperatures, what herbicide do you recommend that will control most of these weeds without damaging the centipede grass too much?

I've used Celsius herbicide on my centipede with no I'll effects except for on the weeds. Also safer to use when temps are high.

If you haven't put down an PreM, you could use Dimension (dithiopyr) that will give you some control of crab as well as weeds that will continue to germinate when it gets warmer. Better to have some barrier than nothing.

Celsius. It was 92 here today. We have some rain coming through this week, after that, I plan on spraying my centipede with Celsius.

Cooler today than it has been the past 7 days, where we were in the upper 90's. I'm calling it now, we will have a mild hurricane season.
