I was curious, the home i purchased is lacking a sprinkler in the center, it is only getting coverage from an oscillating sprinkler.
I did a 45 minute test with a rain gauge. Over a 45 minute period the center received 1/2"...while another section of yard received 2".
If I limit the watering to twice a week....or maybe once....would 2" be too much water for tall fescue?

Plan B is to use a hose sprinkler to get additional water to the center until I get another sprinkler ran....maybe in the fall.

Too much water is normally not a problem if not done every day over night (grow fungus). It is an environment issue with wasting water that the plant will not be able to use before it moves to the subsoil.
